Nurtured To Bloom

This piece comprises of many layers of acrylic paint with deep blues, purple, green and white with some subtle pops of orange. Flowers need water, sunshine and various nutrients from the soil to thrive. When I painted this piece I had been reflecting on things which nurture us and enable us to grow. Things which feed our body, mind and soul in a healthy and positive way. And also how we can nurture those around us in our community/ family. We are all works in progress, but I think it can be helpful to be intentional about how and what can nurture these things to see growth and change.
