In my latest series of “Australian Botanicals” I explore themes of growth and change. I felt the Australian bush was well placed to encompass themes of adaptation. Australian Flowers and botanicals not only survive in extreme circumstances but also display characteristics of thriving in the midst of hardship. I feel this is true for growth as well. Whilst we all enjoy the benefits of periods when life feels a bit easier, growth usually comes about through periods of difficulty.
This piece features a variety of pinks in the background with various mark makings. It can be a stand alone piece or paired with it’s sister piece “Love is Patient”.
