Their unassuming beauty, vibrant colours, diversity and unique forms provide endless sources of inspiration. Whilst I love to paint Australian Native flowers I also love to explore other flower types. Hi there, I’m Sarah,
I’m a mixed media artist based in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. I love to paint all flower types and Australian native botanicals. I like to include abstract designs and mark making in the backgrounds. Using an explosion of cheerful colour palettes, I love to create beautiful pieces which can bring joy and vibrancy into your homes and workplaces. I am inspired by the immense wonder in our natural world, leaving me in awe of God as the ultimate creator.
I am a self taught artist, however was blessed to have had an art teacher as a mother, who was always providing opportunities growing up to express creativity. My love for painting , drawing and colour has always been innate, and I have always enjoyed creating since I was a young child. It has only been in recent years when I have started reengaging back in a regular art practice again and further developing my skills.
